If you want to dance to great music, with great people, and burn a ton of calories without even realizing it …then… Zumba is an aerobic fitness program featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and performed primarily to Latin American dance music.

This class will give fast results for strength, endurance and muscle toning by challenging both the muscular and cardiovascular systems with dynamic, total body movements. Our classes are a mixture of skills building and high intensity circuit training making for both a fun and challenging experience. The intensity of the session can be modified by using different sizes of kettlebells or by changing the number of repetitions. For this reason beginners and those with experience can participate in the same class.

Low Impact / Muscle Conditioning

An emphasizes building Strength, Endurance and Power, while moving to music. Low to no impact makes this a great choice for all exercisers interested in bringing fitness back into their life. Ballet inspired moves with addition of other disciplines like yoga and Pilates, the Barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding a still neutral posture while you contract a specific set of muscles), combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. This class will incorporate light handheld weights to bring the burn during all those reps, as well as mats for targeted core work.
New to Barre? Then this is a great place for you to begin! In this class we start with a Barre warm up and practice to get the legs and upper body moving. There is a small upper body arm training, and for the last 20 minutes or so we take it to the floor using basic Pilates moves to continue to work on our core and stabilizing muscles. Feel the burn without the high impact of a cardio class or weight training with heavy weights. Class is great for all levels or exercisers.

The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your body weight to perform hundreds of exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise – because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance. Strength, cardio and core we hit it all!

The BOSU is like an exercise ball that’s been cut in half with a platform on the bottom. This Balance Trainer is one of the more exciting exercise tools to hit the fitness world in the past few years. It targets multiple areas of fitness like endurance, strength, balance, and stability. The squishy dome side on top offers a bouncy surface for everything from cardio to strength training. Flip it over and there’s a flat side you can use for core work, lower body exercises or flexibility training. Learn everything you need to know about the BOSU in this great group class. 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength training, 20 minutes of abs and stretch.

Stretching and Lengthening

Yoga Flow is the smooth way that the poses run together, is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga. … A sun salutation sequence. Each movement in the series is cued by an inhalation or an exhalation of the breath

This OPEN level challenging vinyasa (flow) class will focus on your hips/legs. You can expect some sun salutations and standing poses, and maybe an arm balance or two but not a lot of backbending or inversions. The sequence will creatively move you into deeper and deeper hip opening postures and you will spend time on the floor doing some forward bending. If you’re hips and legs are tight from running, spinning, tennis and/or other athletic endeavors or sitting for too long at your computer this class will get your hips swinging again. Sweaty, opening, deep and fun – how awesome is that?
After a long day, sometimes we just want to unwind…literally! Gentle yoga encourages you to re-calibrate your body and spirit through mindful, slow sequences encouraging stretch, joint mobility and active recovery through relaxation. A focus on breath awareness and a short meditation will complete your practice.

Core flow…
A vigorous flow all starting at the core. Always moving with the breath and digging deep into the asanas using the strong base within us.
Building from the inside out this flow will have you moving into twists, balancing all with a creative play approach.

The mornings are considered as a “divine time” and when an individual’s spiritual energy is at its peak. Clarity, creativity, and peace of mind and body are benefits of a sunrise yoga practice because of fewer distractions prior to starting your day. To achieve optimum personal results, it is recommended to practice yoga in the morning. Sunrise yoga brings your body more energy and nourishes you with a positive attitude to fully prepare for the challenges of the day ahead.
